# API Limits

To protect Explodely system abuse and it's resources, we place API limits on each account.

Each API key or account has:

* 25,000 API requests per day limit
* 50 API requests per minute limit

Exceeding the above limits will return error upon further API access.&#x20;

Please note that the above limits is there for all API resources combined.&#x20;
