# Authentication

To authenticate your access to the API, you need to pass these 2 parameters to your API request.

username - This should be your Explodely account username

apikey - This should be the associated API key to that account

You can find both your Explodely.com account username and apikey within your account. For any help in locating these details, please contact Explodely support.
